Linda Jo McMahan

Linda Jo McMahan, 74, of Gastonia, NC, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born in York County, SC on December 10, 1951, to the late Frank and Marie Carson.

Linda enjoyed painting and had painted a mural for her great-niece in Kentucky. She has written several articles for the Gaston Gazette.

In addition to her parents Linda was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bruce Carrol McMahan; daughter, Sonia Lynn Brazzell; brothers, Jim Carson.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Tracie Guffie (Dean), Cheryl Mills; sisters, Margaret Whitener, Phyllis Horton; brother Frank Carson Jr.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
