Linda Jackson Marr

Linda Jackson Marr, 73, of Bessemer City, passed away June 28, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

She was born April 7, 1949, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Clarence Edward Jackson Jr. and Essie Whetstine Jackson.

Linda loved her family and was deeply devoted to them.

One of her favorite things to do was to spend precious time with her grandchildren and she also enjoyed going shopping and dining out with her husband.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, July 1, 2022, at Destiny Church, 3723 York Highway Gastonia, officiated by Pastor David Tucker.

The family will receive friends 1-2 prior to the service at the church.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Donnie Marr; sons, Todd Jones and wife TC, Ronnie Marr; daughter, Kelly Phillips; brother, Larry Jackson and wife Nancy; grandchildren, Allison Jones, Chris Jones; great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Ava, Brayden.
