Linda Lee Hill

Linda Lee "Dusty" Eastwood Hill passed peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2024 at home in Gastonia, NC.

She was born on September 6, 1951 in Anaheim, California to the late Bill Eastwood and Gloria Bynum.

Linda worked as a former imports and exports office clerk for Charlotte Douglas Airport. She also worked on the road as a truck driver with Charlotte Motor Speedway before retiring. She was a loving daughter, mother, wife, aunt, grandmother ("mom-mom"), great grandmother, and friend.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Jay Southard; her siblings, Eddie Eastwood, Charlotte Eastwood, Carol Wiestling, and Brenda; and grandson, Gage Robinson.

Linda is survived by her son, Joseph "Joey" Hill; daughters, Sherry Southard, and Cindi Southard; grandchildren, Ava Hill, Lucas Hill, Courtney Stone, Chelsea Smith, Austin Southard, and Tyler Southard; nieces, Coley Hatfield, and Angel Hildebrand; and a few more extended family.

She was a strong-willed woman who loved Jesus. Linda was loved and will be dearly missed.
