Linda Joyce Jefferies

Linda Joyce Jefferies, 77, of Gastonia, NC went home to be with the Lord on July 18, 2020 at her home.

She was born in Spartanburg, SC on July 13, 1943 to the late William Poole and Beulah Mae Brown Pettit.

Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  All who knew her admired her love and dedication to her family and friends.  Everyone loved her personality.  She will be missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Jimmy Jefferies.

Joyce is survived by three daughters, Tammy Wilson and husband Chip, Jeneen Hall, and Jennifer Presnell Widener and finace Jon Alan Crawford; a brother, David Pettit and wife Teresa; two sisters, Connie Wyatt and Diane Howard and husband Bob; three grandchildren, Stephen Hall, Jennifer Nichole Hall, and Jacy Lee Widener; and seven great-grandchildren, Ahlivia, Blake, Kendall, Easton, Kennedy, Stephen, and Sadie.

A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Chris Seagle of New Hope Church of God, will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 at 6:30 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC.
