Linda Sue Jarrell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Sue Jeffries Jarrell, who left us peacefully on February 7, 2025. Born on March 3, 1944, in North Carolina, Linda lived a full life in Gastonia, NC, where she worked diligently in the textile parts distribution industry. Known for her easygoing nature and warm spirit, she touched the lives of many during her years in the clerical field. She was a member for many years at Parkwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed accompanying David to his annual military reunions. Even though Linda and David had no children of their own, they enjoyed taking their nieces and nephews to Walt Disney World and other attractions.

Linda is survived by her sisters, Carol Jeffries Chriscoe and Brenda Jeffries Allred, brothers, Jerry Wayne Jeffries and Bobby Lynn Jeffries (Patricia), several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Linda's life. Graveside services will be held at Hollywood Cemetery 540 N. Broad St., Gastonia, NC 28052 on Friday, February 14, at 11:30 am, where we will come together to honor the wonderful person she was and share the stories that made us all smile.

Though she may no longer be with us, Linda's spirit will continue to live on in our hearts.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Lacy Worth and Mary Arlene Monroe Jeffries, husband David Jarrell, brother, Edward Monroe Jeffries.
