Linda "Gail" Greene

Linda "Gail" Greene, 74, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Courtland Terrace, Gastonia.

She was born December 1, 1947, in Butts Co, GA, daughter of the late Clomer Kitchens and Betty Thaxton Kitchens.

Gail was a member of Pisgah ARP Church, Gastonia, where she was a former deacon and did volunteer office work. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She was co-owner of Western Sizzlin Steak Houses, in Gastonia. She enjoyed painting, traveling with her family and friends, on weekends going out with her best friends, Jack and Beverly Kimbro, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved traveling to GA to see her family and watch Atlanta Braves games.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Titus Greene; sons, Russell Greene (Heather), and Andrew Greene; daughters, Pamela Walker (Larry), and Kimberly Eller (Jack); grandchildren, Jason, Ashley, Jennifer, Carter, Harper Lee, Ansleigh, and Jacob; and great-grandchildren, Ava, Madison, Corbin, Cooper, and Chloe.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Richard Lewis, will be held 3pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Pisgah ARP Church - 3600 Linwood Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052 .

Family will receive friends 1:30-2:30pm at the church.

Burial will be held at the church cemetery.
