Linda Money Crisp

Linda Money Crisp, 80, of Gastonia, passed away on her birthday, Friday, February 2, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

She was born February 2, 1944, in Grayson County, VA, to the late Paul and Nellie Bartley Money.

Linda was a great mother.  She worked hard to support her two daughters without asking for help from anyone.  She was always there to help if anyone called her name.  Her favorite word was, "Mercy!"  She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Mason Crisp; brother, Bobby Money; sister, Jackie Hodge; and special aunt, Gussie Surratt.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Sharon Beam and husband Darrell, and Debra Simpson and husband Bobby; grandchildren, Candace Martin, Danielle Hazlett, and Cameron Harstin; and great-grandchildren, Teagan Beam, Kailynn Thomas, and Isabella Coleman.

A funeral service officiated by Deacon Jamie Ellis, will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Burial will follow the service at Westview Gardens, 1123 Edgewood Road, Bessemer City, NC.
