Linda Correll

Linda Correll, 63, of Lake Wylie, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born on December 2, 1957, to Lillian Stepp and the late Rastus Lee.

In addition to her father, Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Correll; son, Michael Correll; brother, Larry Lee; and sister, Elise Gilbert.

Left to cherish Linda's memories are her mother, Lillian Stepp Thacker; sons, David Correll (Patricia) and Jackie Correll; daughters, Melissa Correll, Kathy Meadows (Bud) and Christy Melton (Chris); brother, Lester Greene; sisters, Ann Matthews (Bruce), Leslie Matthews (Kelly) and Paula Hughes; grandchildren, Ricky Watts, Jr., Jessica Poirier, Amber Correll, Heather Meadows, Allyson Meadows, Avery Meadows, Brian Melton, II, and Samantha Melton; great grandchildren, Gavin Watts, Emma Watts, and Kaley Morgan.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Johnny Yarboro, will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S York Rd., Gastonia, NC, 28052.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
