We are saddened to announce the passing of Linda Ann Bridges, who left us peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. Born on February 10, 1953, in Greenville, SC, Linda touched the lives of many with her warm spirit and kind heart.

Linda was a dedicated Personal Care Assistant, working tirelessly in the nursing home industry where she cared for those in need. Her compassion and commitment to her work earned her the respect and love of both colleagues and the families she served. Linda started her working career in the textile industry before moving onto what she really wanted to do. She loved to help and take care of people. Outside of work she was an avid Elvis fan. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, crafts and taking road trips.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Nancy Gilliland; brothers, Gene Gilliland and James Gilliland.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Clyde Bridges, who will carry her memory in his heart forever; and her beloved children, Jeff Bridges (Betty), Michael Bridges (Stephanie), Brittany Bridges; grandchildren, Savannah, Madison, Stephen, Alex, Katelynn; great-grandson, Davon; sisters, Lorinda Sanders, Charlene Grindle;man y nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at a date to be announced, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Linda's life and the wonderful impact she had on all who knew her.
