Linda "Kay" Braswell

Linda "Kay" Braswell, 69, of Lowell, passed away February 1, 2018 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

She was born August 18, 1948, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late John Henry Braswell and Leona Hall Braswell.

Along with her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her son, Joey Holliday and sister Vickie Greene.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Perkins and husband Paul of Lowell; son, Greg Holliday of Lowell; sister Joann Wiggins and husband Doug of Ranlo; grandchildren Jason Laye and wife Diane, Jennifer Morton and husband Ray, Amanda Carlton, Jodey Holliday; step- grandchildren Melissa Hall and Husband Anthony and Timbo Perkins; 10 great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren and all of her many other adopted grandbabies on Oakland.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastors Eric Ross and Jerry Willard will be held 2 pm Monday, February 5, 2018 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery.
