Lewis Randle Hester

Lewis Randle Hester, 69, of Gastonia, NC, passed away on June 17, 2024. He was born on May 5, 1955, in Gastonia, NC, and remained a proud resident of his hometown until his passing. Lewis was a skilled technician in the cotton textiles industry, having obtained his high school diploma and excelling in his career.

Lewis was a simple man who had a deep love for his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Hester; his children, Shannon Hester and wife Christina, Randy Hester and wife Stephanie, and Bruce Hester; and seven grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sisters, Donna Eubanks, and Peggy McPhearson.

In his free time, Lewis found joy in riding motorcycles and spending quality time with his loved ones. His warm smile and caring nature will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Lewis loved his fur babies, Phoebie, and Jasper, and Charlie the cat.

Future funeral services and ceremonies to celebrate Lewis's life will be announced in the coming days.

Lewis Randle Hester will always be remembered for his kind heart and unwavering love for his family. May he rest in peace.

Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Ethel Hester.
