Lester Charlie Bean

Lester Charlie Bean, 67, of Bessemer City passed away on August 13, 2019 at his residence.
He was born March 19, 1952, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late Charlie Conrad Bean and Hattie Mae Welch Bean.
He is survived by his daughters, Leslie Bean, Lisa Bean, and Lori Brewer and husband, Joseph; grandchildren, Logan Bean, Beth Wilson, Coty Bean, Dalton Logan, Joseph Brewer, Hannah Brewer, Samuel Brewer, Sha Brewer, Amber Brewer, and Emily Brewer; great-grandchildren, Oliver Bean, Ellie Brewer, Karlee Brewer, Lillian Brewer, and Gabriella Brewer; brother-in-law, Franklin James Kinley Jr. and wife, Deborah; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Turner, Mary Drum and husband, Doug, and Patricia Smith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Kinley Bean.
A funeral service officiated by Pastor Mike Criswell will be held 11 am on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
The family will receive friends 6 – 8 Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Crowders Creek ARP Church cemetery.
