Leslie Jane Melton

Leslie Jane Melton, 33, of Dallas passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born August 11, 1984 in Gaston County, daughter of Eddie Lee Melton and the late Loretta Sue Pickelsimer.

In addition to her father, left to cherish her memories are her brother, Eddie Lee Melton, Jr; sister, Melissa Melton and fiance, Darin; step-mother, Samantha Melton; maternal grandfather, Rodney Pickelsimer; paternal grandmother, Maxine Harkey; nephew, Hunter Jordan; niece, Kenlee Theye.

In addition to her mother, Leslie is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Fred Lee Melton; maternal grandmother, Janie Pickelsimer; aunt, Lavonda McConnell; cousins, Alisha Pullen and Tammy Stowe.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Kelly Lowe will be held 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whiteside Road, Gastonia.

Family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be held at Westview Gardens Cemetery, Bessemer City.
