Leslie "Todd" Farkas was born August 25, 1973, in Pequannock, New Jersey to Jaunita "Tammy" and Leslie Farkas. He departed this life on June 11, 2017 as the result of a tragic accident while riding his motorcycle.
At an early age, Todd was active in soccer, basketball, tennis, and track. He graduated from West Lincoln Senior High School, Lincolnton, NC, in 1992.
Todd's greatest love was that of his mother, Tammy, whom he cared and provided for when she became ill.
Todd made everyone smile and enjoyed playing practical jokes on his friends. He was an avid fan of the Florida Gators and the Philadelphia Eagles football teams.
Todd worked at various jobs throughout his life, but his most enjoyable one was as a Disc Jockey with Crunkmuzic Entertainment. Todd also loved to get on his bright orange motorcycle and ride with his friends.
With Todd being an only child, he is survived by his mother, Jaunita "Tammy" Zawackis of Vale, NC, and his father, Leslie Farkas of Budapest, Hungary.
Todd had a host of friends, especially his closest friend Chuck Martin and long-time friend Travis Smith. Todd made more friends after joining the Thirteen Misfits, a local riding club.
Todd will be sadly missed by many. In his mother's words, "Todd never met a stranger".
A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Greene Funeral Services – South Chapel - 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia.
Visitation will start at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
