Lesa Johnson

Lesa Dunn Johnson, 67, of Gastonia, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021, at her residence.

A native of Gaston County, born on November 18, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Sadie Porch Evans.

Lesa was a loving wife, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a hard worker and a very good person. Lesa was devoted to her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Summey and nieces, Carol Nichole Walker and Sadie Dawn Owens.

Left to cherish Lesa's memories are her husband, Richard Johnson; daughters, Jessica Crisp (Kevin), Jennifer Moody, and Tammy McDaniel; son, Jayme McDaniel (Stacy); grandchildren, Amber Silver (Jared), Peyton Moody, Jacob Moody, and many others; and great grandchild, Hensley Silver.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Dickie Spargo, will be held at 11:00 am  on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at City Church – 3100 Bethlehem Church St, Gastonia, NC.

The family will receive friends after the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Belmont Animal Hospital – 7005-B W Wilkinson Blvd, Belmont, NC 28012.

The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service is assisting the family.
