Leonard Eugene Hamrick

Leonard Eugene Hamrick, 84, of Gastonia, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024, at his residence.

A native of Gaston County, he was born on August 31, 1939, to the late Harvey and Maude Hamrick.

Leonard retired from the Mount Holly Plant of Burlington Industries.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Sondia Rankin Hamrick; brothers, Chuck Hambrick, David, J.C., Everett, Otis Hamrick; sisters, Margaret Welch, Betty Lou Hester.

Leonard is survived by his sons, Mark Hamrick (Barbara), Tony Hamrick (Lindy), Tim Hamrick (Lori); daughters, Paula Morrow (Donnie), Melissa Carpenter (Zane); fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild.

Burial will be Friday, January 5, 2024, 11:00 AM, at Gaston Memorial Park.
