Leonard Auten

Leonard Auten, 45, of Lowell, passed away April 12, 2015 at his residence. He was born February 28, 1970 a native of Gaston County, the son of Janice and the late David Gene Auten. Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Janice Auten of Lowell; brothers and sisters, Larry Auten and wife, Joyce of Dallas, Doug Auten of Mt. Holly, Annette Grimsley and husband, Gene of Stanley, Suzanne Campbell and husband, Billy of Kings Mountain, Suzette Harper and husband, Brian of Bessemer City; numerous nieces and nephews; his pet "Misty" and best friends, who the family wishes to give special thanks to Bryan Massie, Dewayne Payne and Scott Henderson. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his sister, Laura Auten and Grandparents, Roy and Betty Baldock and John and Pauline Auten. The family will receive friends at 30 Stowe Street in Lowell from 2:00 pm Tuesday until ? In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice - PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
