Lenora "Lee" H. Gardner

Lenora "Lee" H. Gardner, 82, of Lowell, passed away December 19, 2017 at Stanley Total Living Center.

She was born May 5, 1935 in Shelby, NC, the daughter of the late Frank J. Hutchins and Lossie Barnes Hutchins.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Dean Gardner, Frank Jefferson Gardner, Johnny Wayne Gardner; daughters, Mary Annette Ballard, Nancy Paulene Bradley; brother, Gillman Hutchins; sister Mary Jone Lunquist; sister-in-law, Paulene Gardner; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Gardner; son, Richard "Ricky" Gardner, Jr.; daughter, Sylvia Mae Pressley and brothers, Dwight and Columbus Hutchins.

A funeral service will be held 12 noon, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers to carry her to her final resting place in Hollywood Cemetery include:  Jeff "Red" Gardner, Richard "Buddy" Gardner, Christian Gardner, Dustan Henson, Daniel Gardner and Bradley Pressley; honorary pallbearers include:  Jody Ballard and Kieran Fallow.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
