Lenora Long Davis

Lenora Long Davis, 88, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at her residence.

She was born January 4, 1934, in Habersham Co, GA, daughter of the late Arthur Smith and Eva Jones Nix.

Lenora was a member of South Gastonia Church of God. She loved her family and church family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to go on trips with the church seniors and loved to socialize. She liked to do puzzles and crochet.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Davis; former husband, James Long; daughter, Delores Long; brothers and sisters; and special friend, Shirley Ingram.

Left to cherish Lenora's memories are her daughter, Pam Blalock (Tim); grandchildren, Delores, and Dustin Blalock; great-grandchildren, Lindsay, and Kora Blalock, and Teagon Sigmon; special nephews, Steve, and Robbie Nix; and special nieces, Louella Beach, and Pat West. Special friends who were faithful to visit and do Sunday school lessons, Lillian Davis, Susan Cope, Judy King, and Cookie Swanson.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Bobby Gilley, will be held 4pm on Monday, February 28, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be private at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
