Lena Mae Green Miller

Lena Mae Green Miller, 76, of Gastonia, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

She was born December 5, 1947, in Graham County, North Carolina, to the late Luther and Bertha Green.

Lena was the most generous, kind, loving individual you will ever meet.  She adored her family – especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Abby, her fur baby, had a special place in her heart.

In addition to her parents, Lena was preceded in death by her husband of over 62 years, George Miller; daughter, Angela Miller; brothers, Tommy Green and Bill Green; and sister, Rita Mitchell.

Lena is survived by her son, Tony Miller and wife Patricia; daughter, Annette Fowler and husband John; brother, Bobby Green and wife Carolyn; and sisters, Pat Rowland, and Wanda Wright and husband Kenny; grandchildren, Zack Fowler, Josh Fowler (Scarlet), Ray Miller (Chloe), and Emma Miller (Kyle); and great-grandchildren, Hazel Fowler and Raelynn Miller.

A Gathering of Friends and Family to remember George and Lena will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024, 6:00-8:00 pm, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC.
