Lena Bullard

Lena Bullard, 59, of Bessemer City, passed away on June 22, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte. She was born May 12, 1956 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Ernest Lee Bullard and Lucille Blanton Bullard. Lena worked for Pharr Yarns at the Lowell / McAdenville Plant for 39 ½ years. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Fred Morrison. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Inurnment will be private. She is survived by sisters, Ellen Bullard of Bessemer City, Gay Williams of Wilmington, brother, Allen Bullard and wife Janice of Grover, eleven nieces and nephews; with numerous great- nieces and nephews and great - great- nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Beau. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Gene Blanton, Eddie Bullard, and sister Ruth Mason Grigg. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Restoring Hope Foursquare Church 1026 Dallas Stanley Hwy.
