Ledina Gaye Huskins Brooks

Ledina Gaye Huskins Brooks, 76, of Bessemer City, passed away March 2, 2022, at her home.

She was born May 3, 1945, in Rutherford County, NC, daughter of the late Dean Huskins and Dovie Sparks Huskins.

Ledina loved her family deeply and enjoyed spending time with all of them.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening and dirt track racing.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, March 7, 2022, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Roger Griffin.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.

Ledina is survived by her sons, Gene Brooks and wife Diane Griggs Brooks, Alan Brooks, Bobby Brooks; daughter, Robin Brooks Darty; sisters, Hazel Mashburn, Maxine Landis.

In addition to her parents Ledina was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Brooks.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, Gastonia.
