Laura Rebecca Griffie Morris, 68, of Gastonia, passed away August 7, 2018 at her residence.
She was born November 14, 1949 in Hampton, Virginia, the daughter of the late Marshall James Griffie and Jessie Stillwell Griffie.
She is survived by her son, Jason Morris; brother, Charles Griffie; sister, Kandy Lowery and granddaughter, Phoebe Lee Morris.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Griffie.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at 833 Jackson Street, Gastonia, NC on Saturday, August 11, 2018 between the hours of 12 noon and 6 pm.
