Laura Jean Caldwell, 95, of Dallas, NC, passed away, Monday, June 22, 2020 at Novant Health Forysth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC.
She was born May 12, 1925 in Guilford Co, NC, daughter of the late Wade Fite and Margaret Ballard Fite.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Forney Junior Caldwell Sr; daughter, Carol Sprankle; and brother, Forney Junior Caldwell II.
Laura is survived by her daughters, Glenda Dinkins and husband Gerald, Pat Inman and husband Ted and Dyan Hamilton and husband Steve; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
