Larry Keith Starnes

Larry Keith Starnes, 69, of Gastonia passed away November 28, 2012 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. He was born September 14, 1943 in Gaston County son of the late Bobby Starnes and Mary Carroll Starnes. Mr. Starnes attended Ranlo Baptist Church. He loved his family and enjoyed carp fishing and golf. A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm on Friday at Ranlo Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Matt Thomas and the Rev. Roger Wentz. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday at the church. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. Mr. Starnes is survived by; his wife, Elaine Garrison Starnes of the home; sons, Steven Starnes and wife Kim, Michael Starnes all of Gastonia; daughters,Angela Hunt and husband Matthew, Amy Treadway and husband John all of Gastonia; brother, Richard Starnes of Gastonia; sister, Renee Myers and husband Mike of Gastonia; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: son, Randy Starnes. Memorials may be sent to Ranlo Baptist Church, 1517 Spencer Mountain Rd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
