Larry Dale Penley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larry Dale Penley, who left us on November 25, 2024, at the age of 71.

Born on April 15, 1953, in Gastonia, North Carolina, to the late Kelly Andy Penley and Sylvia Jeanette Penley.

Larry lived most of his life in Gastonia, where he became a familiar face in his community. Larry worked as a driver in the waste management industry, where he became known for his strong work ethic and friendly demeanor.

Larry is survived by his two wonderful daughters, Tammy Yates and Tracy Harris. He will be deeply missed by them and by all who knew him.

In honor of Larry's memory, a memorial service will be held in the near future, where family and friends will gather to celebrate his life. Details regarding the date and location will be shared soon, allowing everyone to pay their respects and share their fond memories.

After his passing, Larry's wishes for cremation will be honored, as he believed in simplicity and the beauty of returning to nature.

Larry Dale Penley may be gone, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest easy, Larry.
