Larry Neal

Larry Neal, 73, of Cherryville, passed away April 8, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

He was born January 11, 1949, in Lincoln County, son of the late June Neal and Lizzie Hubbard Neal

Larry loved his family and enjoyed spending time with all of them.

He worked as a long-haul truck driver for most of his life.

He enjoyed going to car shows.

He served as a mason and was a member of The Cherryville Lodge # 505 for many years.

All services will be private.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of over 22 years, Patricia Richards Neal; sons, Ronald Wallace (Sandra), Donnie Wallace; daughters, Heidi Neal, Jennifer Hoyle (Mark); eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; fur babies, Bingo Lulu, Baby Girl Lily, Humble; pet goat, Tootie; and an African grey parrot, Robin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Minnie Lovelace.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, Gastonia.
