He was born July 13, 1944, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late William Luther Moody and Geneva Johnson Moody.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Zion Baptist Church, 2437 Propst Street, Gastonia.
