Larry David Melton

Larry David Melton, 58, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at his residence.  Larry was born June 26, 1958 in Gaston County and was the son of the late David Kelly Melton and the late Geraldine Varney Revels.

A gathering of friends will be held Monday from 3 – 5:30 pm at Bethlehem Church Youth Recreational Building 3100 Bethlehem Church St. Gastonia.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Marlyn Dean Wilder Jr. (Christy); daughters, Amy Wooten (Jesse), Angela Elphie Melton (Joel), Heather Chase Inman (Chris); brothers, Jerry and Tim Melton; grandchildren, Jessica, Shad, Logan, Dakota, Sadie and Gavin; fur baby, JoJo.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Sonja Lynn Melton; infant son, Brian Keith Melton; sister, Linda Melton Baulcom.
