Larry Eugene Lineberger

Larry Eugene Lineberger, 73, of Dallas passed away August 31, 2012 at his home. He was born January 6, 1939 in Gaston County, son of the late Clyde and Lillie Lineberger. A funeral service will be held 4pm Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Dallas, officiated by Rev. John Merck. The family will receive friends from 3:00 -4:00 pm Tuesday at the church. Interment will be at the church. Mr. Lineberger was a lifelong member at St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved to work on his farm and was a self-employed carpenter for several years. He is survived by: his sons, Dean Lineberger of Dallas, Mark Lineberger of Gastonia; daughter, Lynn Lineberger of Dallas; brothers, Thomas and Fred Lineberger of Dallas; sister, Betty Faye Lineberger of Dallas; grandchildren, Jean, Dana, Tony, and Brandon Lineberger; great grandchildren, Kathryn, Elizabeth, James, Kori. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by: his wife, Pauline Seagle Lineberger; sister, Mary Sue Brooks. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 531 Hardin Rd.
