Larry Zane Kincaid Sr.

Larry Zane Kincaid Sr., 81, of Gastonia, passed away on October 23, 2016, at Carolinas Healthcare System, Lincolnton.

He was born March 5, 1935, in Gaston County, son of the late Frank Kincaid and Artie Kincaid.

Mr. Kincaid was a devoted family man. He was retired from the US Army.

A celebration of life will be held 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016, at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Bart Stone. Military honors provided by the US Army.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Kincaid is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Christina Kincaid; sons, Larry Kincaid Jr. and wife Mindy, Jason Kincaid; daughter, Tatjana Poteat and husband Kevin; brothers, "Bill" Kincaid, Bruce Kincaid; sister, Evelyn Gunter; grandchildren, Jeremy, Larry III, Emily, Sydney, Makayla, Ethan and Darien.
