Larry Ray Ghorley

Larry Ray Ghorley, 69, of Gastonia, passed away January 25, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 23, 1947, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late Cecil and Catherine Ghorley.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of eleven years, Linda England Ghorley; son Allen Thompson and wife Gina; daughters Wanda Santelli, Shannon Horton and Teresa Bridges; brother Jackie Ghorley and wife Donna; sister Cathy Johnson; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service, officiated by the Rev. Dennis Detter, will be held 2 pm Friday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice – PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
