Larry Gene Deitz, 71, of Gastonia, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018.
He was born August 13, 1947 in Franklin, NC, son of the late James Carl Deitz and Gladys Tallent Deitz.
He was a US Army Veteran and retired from Duke Energy after 47 years.
Larry is survived by his wife, Brigitte Deitz of 49 years; son, Kevin Deitz; daughter, Katina Moore; brother, Dennis Deitz; grandchildren, Austin Deitz, Kayla Deitz and Cameron Deitz; and 9 fur babies.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He cared about others more than he cared about himself.
Visitation will be held at 2:00 on Sunday, September 30, 2018 with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont.
