Lalla H. Walker

Lalla H. Walker, 89, of Gastonia, passed away November 23, 2014 at her residence. She was born August 21, 1925 in York, SC, daughter of the late Robert Grier Hill and Jennie Goble Hill. Lalla retired from Homelite after 30 years of service. She is survived by her husband, Clyde Walker; daughter, Vickie Harrell; granddaughter, Angela Harrell and great-granddaughters, Diana, Victoria and Sarah Macon, all of Gastonia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday at Woodside Cemetery, Clover, SC, officiated by Pastor Kenny Lane. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday night at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Alzheimer's Association- Western Carolina Chapter, 3800 Shamrock Dr., Charlotte, NC 28215-3220. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
