Lafayette Robert Marlowe

Lafayette Robert Marlowe, 86, of Dallas, NC, passed away September 21, 2022, at his residence.

He was born December 12, 1936, to the late Jonah and Pent Melton Marlowe in Cleveland County.

Mr. Marlowe is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Diane McNabb Marlowe, daughters, Pam Workman (Jeff), Lisa Thacker (Eric), stepson, Greg Yelton, grandchildren, Summer Workman, B.J. Brooks, step grandchildren, Brandon, and Jesse Robinson and seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Marlowe was a former supervisor at Lanxess Chemical. He loved to fish and watch Nascar Racing. He loved all sports, especially baseball and football. He enjoyed taking his grandchildren to the golfing range.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Randy Richardson, will be held Saturday, September24, 2022 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service at 4:00 PM.

Visitation will be one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
