Kristina Rae Vaughn

Kristina Rae Vaughn, a lively spirit born on March 20, 1992, in Lincolnton, NC, sadly left us on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Rutherford Regional Health System. Kristina, who made her home in Dallas, NC, was known for her warmth and affection, a true homemaker dedicated to her family, and a wonderful mother to her children. Kristina was big hearted and had many friends. She loved her family dearly, as well as children and animals.

She is survived by her beloved grandmother, Barbara Vaughn Little, and her father, Bobby Vaughn and wife Libby; daughters, Maci Jones and Lyla Millwood; fiancé John Jones Jr.; sister, Maria Chapman (Dustin); sisters in law, Dianna Jones (Jerry Steen), Tiffany Jones Allen (Richard), mother in law and father in law, Angel & John Jones Sr.; nieces and nephews, Iris Steen, Brantley and hunter Allen. Kristina will be remembered for her kind heart and the love she shared with those around her.

Kristina was preceded in death by her mother, Tina Reep Painter; grandfather, Bob Little.

A celebration of Kristina's life will take place in the coming days. Family and friends are invited to gather and share stories, laughter, and memories of the wonderful person Kristina was. Details regarding the service will be shared soon, and we hope all who loved her will join us in honoring her memory.
