Klara Smith

Gastonia, NC Klara Smith, 82, passed away May 27, 2013, at CaroMont Regional Med. Ctr., Gastonia. She was born March 5, 1931 in Germany, daughter of the late Ludwic and Anna Maria Bieringer. A graveside and interment service will be held 2 pm on Friday at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Susan Trabue. The family will take time after the service, at the cemetery, to speak with friends. She is survived by: her loving husband of 61 years, William Smith; son, David Smith and his wife, Annette of Gastonia; daughters, Rosmarie Bingham and her husband, Jerry, Sylvia Bailey and her husband, Andy, Julia Gibson and her husband, Ricky all of Gastonia; brother, Ludwic Bieringer of Germany; seventeen grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: fourteen brothers and sisters. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
