Kimberly Cannon Wise

It is with heavy hearts that we share that on February 16th, 2025, Kimberly Cannon Wise went home to be with the Lord. Born on September 6, 1955, in North Carolina, Kim was a dedicated daughter, sister, mother, and friend, whose warmth and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her.

A resident of Gastonia, NC, Kim was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Gastonia where she was a former Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed traveling to the beach. She loved shopping, gardening and flowers. She loved her family and was a caregiver to her parents, mother-in-law and others.

She is preceded in death by her husband David Carl Wise, her parents Rudolph and Dorothy Cannon.

Kim is survived by her loving daughters and sons in law, Christy Turner (Lee) and Jennifer Hill (E.J.), grandchildren Zoe Turner, Kaleigh Hill, Zeth and Zachary Turner, and Miley Hill, who carry on her legacy of kindness and resilience. She also leaves behind her dear brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Judy Cannon. Kim cherished her family deeply, and her love will continue to inspire them.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 21, 2:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, Gastonia with Dr. Josh Glandon Officiating. Visitation to follow the service at the church
