Kimberly Ellis Robinson

It is with deep sorrow and a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of Kimberly Ellis Robinson, age 57, on June 4, 2025. Born on August 21, 1967, in Cleveland County, North Carolina. Kimberly was a beloved daughter, mother, and friend who touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness.

A dedicated Administrative Assistant in the Health Care industry, Kimberly was known for her unwavering support and compassion for others. Her commitment to her work and her colleagues reflected her nurturing spirit and deep commitment to making a difference in the lives of those she served.

Kimberly was a loving mother to her children, who will forever carry their mother's legacy in their hearts. Family was the cornerstone of Kimberly's life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She was very kind, caring and giving and had a huge passion for helping others.

She had a desire to travel, explore new places, and create beautiful memories that she shared with her loved ones.

A celebration of Kimberly's life will be held 11:00 am Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Timmy Whitaker. The family will receive friends 10-11 prior to the service.

Kimberly is survived by her sons, Josh Jones (Brittany), Cody Robinson (Maddie); her daughter, Shannon Andrew (Shane); brother, Scott Ellis; sister, Candy Ellis Mary Ann Jenkins (Charlie); ten precious grandchildren; and her best friends Robin Ballard and April Payne (kidney donor).

Kimberly was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Ellis and Elizabeth Capps; sister, Sherry Lunsford.

Kimberly Ellis Robinson will be remembered for her loving spirit, joyful heart, and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
