Kim Denton

Kim Denton, 57, of Gastonia, NC, passed away June 10, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

She was born October 30, 1964, in Gaston County, NC, to Jane Bush Vernon.

Kim was a graduate of Hunter Huss High School.  She was a great wife, mother, sister, and daughter.  Kim was a strong, independent, wise woman and a fighter.  She was very supportive of her family.   Kim kept everything running at home.  She enjoyed cookouts.  Kim was a great cook.  She was generous and always willing to help others.  Kim was a friendly, people-person.  A tribute to that fact was her regular customers at each of the different places she worked.

Kim is survived by her loving husband, Todd Denton; sons, Josh Denton and Jack Denton; parents, Jane Bush Vernon and Jerry David Vernon; sisters, Susan Rodriguez and husband Mike, Teresa Cable and husband Randy, and Lisa Lingerfelt and husband Steve; numerous nieces and nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Jeannie Denton; and sister-in-law, Hope Stiles and husband Kevin.

All services were private.
