Kevin Michael Tate

Kevin Michael Tate, 56, of Bessemer City passed away October 19, 2013 at the Robin Johnson House, Dallas. He was born March 26, 1957 in Gaston County son of the late Fletcher and Martha Benfield Tate and was one of nine children. A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052 officiated by Rev. Leon Humphrey. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home. Interment is private. Mr. Tate loved his family, pets and gardening. He was of the Baptist faith, expert carpenter, and avid gardener. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Jackson Tate; son, Allen Tate; daughter, Grayson Martha Tate.
