Kevin Blake Moore

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin Blake Moore, aged 74, who left this world on November 8, 2025. Born on September 19, 1951, in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, Kevin lived a life filled with love, dedication, and passion.  He was well known for his skilled work as a mechanic, where he devoted his days to bringing old cars and tractors back to life.

Kevin's love for family was profound, and he cherished every moment spent with loved ones. He was not only a devoted father, brother and friend but also an esteemed Past Master of Masonic Lodge 462, where he forged lasting bonds and contributed to his community with a spirit of generosity and kindness.

An avid outdoorsman, Kevin found joy in golfing and relished his time in nature. Whether he was tinkering in the garage or enjoying a sunny day on the course, he lived life to the fullest, always with a smile on his face and a story to share.

As we reflect on his remarkable life and the memories we hold dear, we invite friends and family to honor Kevin at his funeral service which will be held 11:00 am Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Walt Griggs. The family will receive friends 10-11 am prior to the service. The burial will be at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.

In celebrating Kevin's life, we remember his infectious enthusiasm, unwavering support, and the laughter he brought into our lives. Let us gather to pay our final respects to a beloved man who touched the hearts of so many. May he rest in peace.

Kevin is survived by; his daughters, Joanna Moore (Shaun Black), Alecia Moore, Keri Moore; brothers, Terry Moore (Marguerite), Barry Moore (Wanda); grandchildren, Vincent Bayer, Lilly Brewer, Jacqueline Howell, Noah Hensley, Patricia Hendley (Eric); seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a lifelong friend, Clyde Toney.

Kevin was preceded in death by: his parents Roy Sylvester Moore and Juanita Gibson Moore.
