Kenneth Darrell Sansing

Kenneth Darrell Sansing, 68, of Kings Mountain, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Testa Family Hospice in Kings Mountain, after a battle of lung cancer. He was born June 2, 1951, to the late Nellie and Ernest Thomas Sansing Sr.

He was a 1969 graduate at Bessemer City High School and worked at JE Herndon for nearly 30 years before retiring. He was a loving companion, and father who was dedicated to his family. He enjoyed watching wrestling, westerns and having movie nights with his grandchildren. He enjoyed cooking and called his chicken the "original KFC (Ken's Fried Chicken)."

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother James Arnold Sansing and sister Martha Frances Sansing.

He is survived by his former wife and companion, Recie Biddix; son, Jake Sansing and wife Mandie; grandchildren, Zachary and Kaylee; siblings, Ted and Thomas Sansing and Susan Queen; nieces and nephews: Susie Caldwell, Sherri Bolt and Tim Moses; close family friend, Linda Moose. And his beloved cat, Tiny.
