Kenneth Pearson

Kenneth Pearson, 67, of Dallas, passed away on December 29, 2015 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

He was born December 7, 1948, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late William Frank Pearson and Estella Grant Pearson.

Kenny served in the US Army and was a proud Vietnam veteran.

He is survived by sons Michael Pearson, David and wife Rebecca Pearson; granddaughters Kelly Bobo and Amanda Pearson; great-grandson Jaxon Pearson; sisters, Marie Arrowood, Cathey Wilson and Trudy and husband Kirk Chester.

A funeral service will be held 1:30 pm Saturday at Berea Baptist Church, Hickory Grove Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Dr. Rick Ivey.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice (The Robin Johnson House), PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
