Kenneth R. Maney, 74, of Kings Mountain, passed away on April 11, 2018, at his home.
He was born October 18, 1943, in Gaston County, son of the late Cline W. Maney and Lillian Stockton Maney.
A graveside service will be held Sunday 2:00pm April 15, 2018 at Westview Gardens 1123 Edgewood Rd. Bessemer City, officiated by Pastor Jimmy Maney and Pastor Tim Barrett.
A memorial service will be held 4:00pm Friday, April 13, 2018, at Christ Worship Center 3951 West Franklin Boulevard, Gastonia.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Maney is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Jacqueline Phillips Maney; son, Thomas Phillips and wife, Amber of Kings Mountain, NC; daughters, Pamela Maney of Jacksonville, FL, Mylissa Phillips of Gaffney, SC, Sandra Phillips of Dallas, NC; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Joann Brown, Maxine Price; grandson, Jonathan Sowell; great-granddaughter, Shaleigh Phillips.
