**Obituary for Kenneth "Scott" Keesler**

Kenneth "Scott" Keesler, born on June 4, 1965, in Charlotte, North Carolina, peacefully departed this world on May 23, 2025, at the age of 59. A beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, Scott leaves behind a legacy of kindness, leadership, and unwavering support that touched the lives of many.

Scott was a proud graduate of West Mecklenburg High School and furthered his education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. He dedicated his professional life to the insurance industry, where he had a distinguished 36-year career with FM Global. As the Operations Chief Engineer in Atlanta, Scott demonstrated exceptional leadership and compassion. His roles as a Operations Chief Engineer and Senior Engineering Specialist II allowed him to be a mentor and trainer to countless colleagues, significantly influencing their professional journeys and personal lives.

Outside of work, Scott cherished the joys of life-he found peace and happiness in fishing, hunting, golfing, and being at the beach. His enthusiasm for the outdoors was only surpassed by his love for his family, particularly his wife, Beth Keesler, and their daughter, Sara Keesler Haley (Cameron). Ken also adored his grandchild, Lynnox Haley, and took great pride in his cherished nieces: Kelly Bode, Britney Rhyne, Adalyn Bennett, and Jessica Keesler. He is also survived by his brother, Kevin Keesler, who will deeply miss his companionship.

A visitation will be held at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, on May 29, 2025, from 6:30-8:30 PM, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Scott's life and share their fond memories.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Johnston Health Foundation (Hospice Fund), www.johnstonhealth.org.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Reva Keesler; and brother-in-law, Kevin Rhyne.
