Kenneth "Jamie" Gee

Kenneth "Jamie" Gee, 35, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born October 3, 1986, in Cleveland Co, NC.

Jamie was a US Marine Vet. He worked as a landscaper with several companies, in addition to him being self-employed and working with his father, Mark. He was a loving and caring husband and father. He was a graduate of Victory Christian Academy.

He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Odell Gee; brother, Jeremy Gee; and grandparents, Ernest Gee, Calvin Mullinax, and Tom McMahan.

He is survived by his wife, Ashley Mercer Gee; daughter, Aria Gee; parents, Mark and Laura Ramsey; father and mother-in-law, Joe and Laurie Mercer; stepmother, Donna Gee; sisters, Kelly Stewart (Kyle), Brittany Withers (Zachary), and Nikki Ramsey; grandmothers, Pat McMahan, and Phyllis Gee; nieces, Kylee Grace Stewart, Kendall Stewart, and Makayla and Quinn Withers.

Family will receive friends 6-8pm on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Carroll Hennessee, will be held 3pm on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Landmark Baptist Church - 311 Archie Whitesides Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052 .

Jamie will lie in state at Landmark Baptist Church from 2-3pm on Friday.

Internment will be private.
