Kenneth Carpenter, 62, of Grover, NC, passed away on September 15, 2020, at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby.
He was born November 9, 1957, in Cleveland County, son of the late William Melton Carpenter and Mary Bell Carpenter.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
James is survived by his son, Ken Wilson; brothers, William David Carpenter and William Melton Carpenter Jr.; sister, Kathy Jackson and husband Ricky; granddaughter, Gabriella Wilson.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Carpenter; sons, James K Carpenter Jr., and Billy Joe "Bubba" Wilson; daughter, Bonnie Nicole Godwin; granddaughter, Sarah Wilson.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
