Kelsey Brooke Simmons

Kelsey Brooke Simmons, 21, of Bessemer City, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016, at her home.

She was born December 15, 1994, in Gaston County, daughter of Pheibe Hall Painter and the late Tony Simmons.

Kelsey, a native of Gaston County, loved her family. She never met a stranger, and her smile would light up the room.

In addition to her mother, left to cherish her memories are her stepdad, Jason; son, Timothy Huss; father of her son, David Huss; brothers, Kenny Simmons, Josh Simmons, Keith Simmons and wife, Sierra; sisters, Jessica Hooper and husband, Matt, Ally Simmons; maternal grandmother, Pat Hall and fiancé, Michael Hull; maternal grandfather, Terry Hall; special uncles, Chub Hall and fiancé, Keisha Felts, Chad Hall; and nephews, Rylan Simmons, Kaden Simmons, Mason Hooper, and Jordan Hooper.

A memorial service will be held 3pm on Wednesday at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia. Rev. Tim Postell will be officiating.

The family will receive friends 6-8pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Interment is private.
