Kelley Dawn Moss

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kelley Dawn Moss, age 60, on April 14, 2026. Kelley was born on August 20, 1965, in Gaston County, where she created a loving home filled with warmth and cherished memories.

Kelley was a devoted wife to John Moss, with whom she shared an incredible journey that began when they fell in love at the tender age of 13. Together, they built a beautiful life, rich in love and laughter, and John remembers Kelley as his sweetheart and the love of his life. Their deep bond was a testament to their understanding and support for one another, a love story that inspired all who knew them.

She was a loving presence, known for her kindness and her unyielding support to those around her.

Kelley had a particular fondness for animals, and her heart was especially warmed by the presence of her beloved cats-Coat Hanger, Highlander, Boo, Soot, and Nim. Her love for her pets reflected her nurturing spirit and her ability to find joy in the simple things in life.

Fond of both the beach and the mountains, Kelley valued moments spent in nature and took pleasure in sharing these experiences with her family. She embraced life fully, filling her surroundings with love and laughter, creating memories that will be forever cherished by her loved ones.

Kelley is survived by her devoted husband, John Moss; son, Alex Moss (Haley Moss); daughter, Kassie Moss (Lauren Parker); sister, Kathy Morrison; grandson, Dayne Moss; brothers and sisters in law, Mike Moss (Phyllis Moss), Mark Moss, Tina Moss.

Kelley is preceded in death by her parents, Dooley and Billy Hill; brothers, Terry Hill, Tracy Hill; sister, Donna Hill Sigmon.

Kelley Moss will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
